It’s Another Boy!

Yes, I have two boys now, Alhamdulillah…  So still the prettiest in the family :)

Our second child ZALDY PUNGGAWA IMBAR was born in Denpasar (Prima Medika Hospital), on 5 October 2011 at 11.20 AM, weigh 3170 gr and 50 cm long. Zaldy is now nearly three months :)

Braxton Hicks

Often fooled by false contractions during this second pregnancy or known as “Braxton Hicks” contraction. That’s why I thought I would deliver earlier than the due date…. you fooled me baby :-) :-)

In two days it will be 40 weeks which is the best period for delivery! Waiting for that “real” contraction to come and hope for VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean) *fingers crossed*

Kehamilan Ke-2

So, I’m really enjoying this stage :-) Selama kehamilan kedua ini, terhitung tiga kali melakukan official travel: Denpasar – Makassar – Palu – Makassar – Kendari – Makassar – Denpasar (1st travel), Denpasar – Jakarta – Denpasar (2nd travel), Denpasar – Jakarta – Denpasar (3rd travel).

Mama sedang diambil kalsiumnya oleh si kecil, anything for you dear…

Sekarang mengenai dokter kandungan, saya memilih dr.

New Job… fresh from the oven….

Apakah berdasarkan besar/kecilnya project? Still to discuss…..

So, I’m exited for this new challenge :-)

Back to Work!

Happy: Career life has been my usual activity and I love the type of work I got now

Worried: First time working after having a child

Sad: Thinking about my son that will be left a lot at home

Proud: Being in a great organization

Timing: Perfect, Zaky’s is 10 months now

I know that Zaky does not like watching me leave home every morning and sometimes I feel sorry for that. I hope he can adapt quickly to that condition. My new colleagues gave me support as some are also a mother, and they say that a child of a working mother is usually more independent. Well that’s a relief…… :)

I often look this way, “if others can why can’t we?”

Counting Days to 2010

December is usually a holiday time, plus being in a tourist area makes us wander around more often. These two weeks was quite packed, we went to Gobleg (upper of Bedugul), Dreamland, the beach on discovery mall backyard, barbeque at a friend’s housewarming party, and some other small places.

This will be my first experience celebrating new year in Bali, since I live here now. But I don’t plan to go out to the crowd like in Legian or Kuta as people’s favorite destination, we better avoid the crazy traffic there.

One of my top new year’s resolution list is getting back to work. I hope I can handle my multiple role: being a mother, a wife, and a career woman….

I believe I can, and if we believe in something, it will be possible…….

Bali here I come!

Finally the time is almost there, my boy is now 3,5 months old and recommended to fly by his doctor :)

I’m exited to start this new type of life. In some point Bali should be more fun than Jakarta, I hate the hectic traffic here! In the other hand there’s a little feeling of sadness leaving Jakarta, but I’m sure it’d the best for my small family. It will be a challenge because we don’t have close siblings there, it’ll be tough, but we are ready to struggle and face the obstacles.

Us or “daddy-mommy-baby” will live together in a house which will be our first experience ever living without our in laws. Hope everything will be smooth…..

My dear friends, if you happen to stop by in Bali please contact me, you know my number!

leaving some scratches

My faithful companion just went back to Bali after a long visit here in Jakarta. It’s a common thing that he comes and go, but tonight I miss him too sudden. I have to move to Bali the soonest I guess, and can’t wait to live in our home as a family – a happy family I should say :)

I’m now listening to The Police song: “Every little thing she does is magic”. Enough to make me remember one beautiful moment. It’s the song that flattered me end of June 2007 when hubby was  approaching me. He went to Jakarta, picked me up after work, accompanied me home and stopped by in a music store to buy me the CD underlining the meaning of ‘every little thing she does is magic’. Isn’t that sweet? But at that time I wasn’t sure he was hitting on me. Was I dumb or have I lost my sensitivity???

Hmmmm, I feel much better after typing scratches of my mind and now off to bed with a smile…..

*one who misses so much*

Au Revoir Michael Jackson

25 June 09 Jacko passed away at the age of 50…..

Shocked? Yes, of course! And he’s not that old yet.  I’m kinda a fan of Jacko. I grew up listening to his hits, and know almost all the lyrics.

Does some of these can categorize me as a fan???

  • In 2nd grade, the song “Bad” was a top hit and I used to sing that song while taking a shower :D .
  • In 3rd grade I was stunned watching The Grammy Awards (I still remember Debbie Gibson was the host), and saw Michael Jackson received a special award which showed clips of his concerts all over the world and how people became so hysterical. We taped it in our betamax video and I watched it over and over.
  • In 4th grade, I really loved “Man In The Mirror” song. It was like our (my brother and sister’s) traveling song, we sang it all through our vacation around Europe when it was also a hit at that time. We sang it in the car, in the hotel, everywhere! Up to now, it’s still one of my favorites…
  • Then came “Heal The World” and “Black or White” when I was in junior high. Yes, I bought the album (no questions about that)!
  • I think “You Are Not Alone” was popular when I was in senior high, the time he was starting to loose his rising star. But still, I have the lyric in my songbook *wondering where that book is now*.
  • When I was in college, I became a fan of  “Ben” and some other songs of the Jackson Five. I actually learned that song and followed how he sings. Cool huh?
  • My last tribute is buying his best collection album in Medan early 2007. All great songs are in it, you name it! Love that CD and the most important thing is it’s ORIGINAL so hopefully it can pay off a teeny weeny amount of his debt, huhuhuuu.

I think I will consider myself as “kinda” a fan, not a “freak” fan.

In my opinion, he should stop with his plastic surgery since the first successful one. He already looked nice there, but just couldn’t understand why he never stops doing it. Don’t the doctor give advice not to? Yeah I know, they’re just after the money. I saw an interview where the interviewer seduced him with questions about his plastic surgery which Michael denied. The interviewer asked whether he changed his eyes, his cheek, his hair, his nose, his skin, etc. Jacko said he did not do any plastic surgery and clarify that it just changed because people change, I think what he meant was it naturally changed. Still not satisfied, the interviewer said again, “But your lips are different, I’m sure you must have gone through a plastic surgery”. Jacko replied “NO” and seemed very pissed.

Anyway, despite all the pros and cons no one can replace Michael Jackson. He’s definitely one of a kind, the true king of pop!
